With lush green landscapes, shimmering waters and an outstretched coastline, Sanur is just the right place if you wish to soak up the sun without the usual crowds of Bali. Be it enjoying views of the orange sunset, relaxing under the shade of palm trees or scuba diving to explore the world under the blue waters, Sanur is a magical land waiting to be explored.

There are a number of things to do in Sanur – the most obvious being touring its beaches. You can walk or pedal along the Cemara Beach, view an orange sunset at the Mertasari Beach, canoe at the Sindhu Beach or simply unwind at the Semawang Beach.

You can visit the Serangan Turtle Island to see the protected greenback turtles. If you're at the right time of the year, you'll be able to join an Olive ridley sea turtle release at Sanur Beach. For a bit of adventure during your Sanur trip, dive into the world of exciting water sports like surfing, snorkelling, parasailing and jet skiing. To add a more local touch to your trip, you can even ask a fisherfolk to take you around on a traditional boat. Round off your day of adventure by enjoying a hot plate of Nasi goreng at Sector Bar & Restaurant.

Located in the south-east coast of Bali, Sanur is located at an approximate distance of 12 km from the Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar. You can get a taxi from the airport to Sanur.
