The coastal city of Quy Nhon is the capital of the Binh Dinh Province in Vietnam. Falling between Nha Trang and Hoi An, this city is worth a stop if you're up for a holiday surrounded by pristine beaches, stunning temples and friendly people.
Quy Nhon is surrounded by green mountains on three sides and the ocean on the fourth. Apart from witnessing breathtaking views of nature, you can also spend your afternoon in one of the cafés on the Quy Nhon beach, overlooking the golden sand and pristine waters of the place. About 12 km away from Quy Nhon lies the picturesque beach of Bai Xep. With a long coastline and natural rock formations, this coastal spot should be on your list if you're looking for a relaxing spot away from the city. Alternatively, you can stop at Queen's Beach – situated about three kilometres away from the city centre and named after the last queen of feudal Vietnam.
The fastest and easiest way to travel to Quy Nhon is by plane. Flights are available to this city only from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Phu Quoc and Con Dao. There also are a number of bus and train services that connect Quy Nhon to some of the major cities and towns in Vietnam like Da Nang and Dieu Tri.
